On this page you will find the contacts for all current officers as well as those of the faculty advisors and the description of the responsibilities for each officer.

Marketing Club Position Descriptions

President
- Communicate with co-advisors and department head on a weekly basis
- Monitor activities of all officers
- Schedule and conduct all chapter meetings
- Schedule speakers and confirm dates 14 days before schedule appearance
- Write thank-you letters to speakers
- Be available in Manhattan for summer meetings
- Attend all Dean Ebadi’s President Council meetings
- Complete all necessary paperwork (registration, membership, etc.) with the AMA and SGA
- Maintain club files in Room 308

Executive Vice President
- Assume responsibility of all chapter functions in the absence of the President
- Send Thank you letters to speakers
- Manage production of Operations Manual
- Coordinate field trips to companies, and keep co-advisors and department head informed on a monthly basis
- Gets release forms for field trips
- Help coordinate Career Fair, Mock Interviews, and Coffee/Dessert Buffet
- Attend all CBA Business Council Meetings

VP Finance and Fundraising
- Balance finances (checkbook)
- Timely pay for all Club expenditures
- Collect and deposit all checks
- Send membership forms with payment to AMA
- Attend all CBA Business Council Meetings
- Check the Marketing Club box in 201 Calvin twice a week
- Organize several fundraisers to benefit the club (e.g., K-State t-shirts)
- Coordinate volunteers for fundraising activities
- Take notes at meetings and distribute
- Coordinate Telefund

VP Promotions and Advertising
- Announce club meetings in the Collegian, department LISTSERV, local TV, and
 on the monitor on the third floor of Calvin.
- Provide information to Marketing Department secretary to post on the department’s LISTSERV
- Make signs for events
- Maintain the Marketing Club's information bulletin boards (Ground floor and 2nd floor)
- Organize Family Weekend, All-Majors Fair and Open House activities with VP Membership


VP Membership
- Coordinate and manage Mock Interviews and Mock Interview Luncheon
- Promote and recruit new members
- Maintain club member roster/LISTSERV
- Organize Open House activities with VP Promotions
- Coordinate Dessert Buffet (caterers and list of attendees) with Executive VP


VP Careers and Placement
- Coordinate and manage Mock Interviews and Mock Interview Luncheon
- Recruit new members to volunteer for the Career Fair
- Work in conjunction with CES and inform members of all pertinent events
-Select the appropriate committee size and structure with the Excecutive VP

Responsibilities of all Club Officers
- Attend all meetings and dinners
- Attend all Marketing Club sponsored activities
- Attend American Marketing Association (AMA) Regional Conference
- Participate in all Fundraising Activities
- Keep faculty advisors fully informed in advance of activities
