Marketing Club
Mission
The mission of the Kansas State University Marketing Club is to create
an atmosphere that enables students to develop their knowledge and understanding
of modern business practice, important career skills, job search skills,
and the economy. The officers of this organization also hope to provide
the membership with the exclusive opportunity to network with representatives
from the most distinguished companies available and the chance to interact
socially with their peers.

Operations Manual
Name
and Purpose
This organization shall be known
as the American Marketing Association, formally known as the Marketing
Club.
The purpose of this organization
shall be:
To encourage students to choose a career within the field of marketing.
To stimulate interest and encourage scholarship of students presently
in the marketing curriculum.
To strengthen the ties between executives in business and students preparing
to enter business.
To provide students with the opportunity to participate in organizing,
planning, directing, and controlling an organization dedicated to the
promotion and advancement of the art and science of marketing.
Members
Membership is open to all K-State students, with no limitations according
to GPA, major or student classifications.
Officers
The officers of this organization shall be: President, Executive Vice
President, Vice President of Membership, Vice President of Promotions,
Vice President of Finance, and Vice President of Fundraising
Resigning officers recommend
to co-advisors officer candidates for selection during the spring semester.
Dues
Dues will be assessed at the beginning of each semester. Thirty dollars
is paid to AMA and $20 for chapter dues for one year membership. Checks
are made out to the American Marketing Association and should be given
to the Department of Marketing secretary in Calvin 201.
Meetings
Chapter meetings will be held once or twice a month according to speaker
schedule and so forth.
